Project: Chennai Metro Rail Phase 2 Project - Corridor 4 and part of Corridor-3&5

Location: Chennai, Nandanam

Requirement:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical (4-years Degree Course) from a recognized University.
• The candidate shall have minimum 12 years post qualification experience in execution & supervision of Rolling Stock Engineering
• Professional experience must include 5 years of working experience in Metro/Railways/ LRT Project with experience only in consultancy.

Functional Role:

• Report to Chief Rolling Stock Expert
• Manage all staff relate to Rolling Stock works
• Attend to the pre-bid conference and prepare answer to the questions rose by bidders related to Lift and Escalator works.
• Review the Rolling Stock detailed designs.
• Analyze the performance provisions for Rolling stocks.
• Technically evaluate documents submitted by bidders.
• Work with other team members to ensure the performances needed for Rolling Stock contract.
• Overall, in charge for delivering the Key Dates and important milestones of the project site related to your assignmnet.
• Verify completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.  
• Assistance in Preparation of Bid Documents and Tender Assistance in finalization of Contract.
• Certify progress claim from Contractor.  
• Construction supervision of assigned Rolling Stock packages including safety, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Review and critique of program schedules of contractors.
• Assist CMRL to coordinate with stakeholders and supervise Contractor for the Rolling Stock management plan implementation till the completion of consulting service.
