We Have conducted more than 80 Urban & Regional Planning Projects in 40 countries over the last 35 years.
We have collaborated with many countries and cities in regional and urban development planning targeting economic growth, social development, poverty reduction, correction of disparity between regions, sustainable development, improvement of quality of life etc. The aim of such development plans is to balance the purposes of economic development, social development and environmental consideration making use of processes such as stakeholder involvement and strategic environmental assessment (SEA) as well as tools such as geographic information system (GIS). Based on the analysis of development potentials, constraints of local resource endowment and development issues, we have formulated development scenarios and comprehensive strategies covering various sectors though sector approach, and proposed appropriate projects and programs.
We have contributed to planning better urban settings to meet the growing demand for socio-economic activities in rapidly urbanizing areas, with development framework, land-use plans, redevelopment plans, public utilities/ facilities plans, residential development plans, new town development plans, industrial area development plan, etc. We have formulated urban and regional plans which are practical, providing answers to specific challenges in each region.
