Mizoram has the highest cancer incidence rate in India at 189.7 cases per 100,000 population, nearly double the national average. Currently, patients must travel outside the state for specialized cancer treatment, creating significant financial burden. This project addresses the critical healthcare gap by establishing Northeast India's premier cancer care facility with comprehensive treatment capabilities from diagnosis to rehabilitation.
